YciaTravel to: Albuquerque, New Mexico
This is the third part of our trip. Visit the previous part HERE!
It's time to go to the Albuquerque, the old town in the high desert! It took about 1 hour from Santa Fe. We went to this famous place called Sandia Peak Tramway
It’s one of the must to go places in Albuquerque. At first, we were pretty worried when we were there, since the tram had a long line and the weather was pretty rainy at the time. But yes, we decided to get into the line and went into the ride in perfect time! The sunset! Yay!
The ride took about 15 minutes to the peak of Sandia! The view was breathtaking… You can see the 360 sky view of the whole Albuquerque city plus an amazing sunset for my case :D Temperature was dropped about 20 degrees Fahrenheit because it’s way up there about 10400 ft above sea level and the wind blew us after the rain, so have a jacket would help. The tram ride was awesome! The view was super great, don’t look down if you scared of height. Other than that, just enjoy your ride!
After that ride and chilly windy weather at the peak, we wanted to have something warm. So, we decided to have ramen for our dinner at the O Ramen and Curry House. Located at the Central Ave SE, across the street from University of New Mexico. They offered variety of ramen and curry. Since it’s a college student area, the price is super good! And the food is so good! **scored!
