YciaTravel to: Cadillac Ranch, Texas

When 2015 labor day weekend was around the corner, me and my friend Sye2 had a blast road trip to the super white land at Alamogordo, White Sands National Monument, New Mexico!
2 girls on a road trip? heck yeah! We had so much fun and would like to share this 2k miles trip with y’all :)

This is the first part of the trip, from Houston to Dallas to Amarillo to New Mexico Border. Texas is so huge, it took at least about 8 hours to get out from it.

YciaTravel on Fall 2015
First, I got to go pick up Sye2 at her work. Driving 3.5 hours to Dallas, grab her stuff, and let the journey begin! We decided to take i-40W route, so we can visit some cities along the way.

Not far towards northwest Dallas, Denton (north of Fort Worth), we passed the Texas Motor Speedway! What’s interesting is their highway wall! It has cars pattern on both side. This place hosts all those national big events, from IndyCar to Nascar.

5.5 hours later, we arrived at Amarillo and spent a night there.
In the morning, Amarillo was pretty quiet, we had some breakfast and then set up our destination to the West! yay... Our first stop is the Cadillac Ranch. It's located just passed outside of Loop 335, at the feather road of i-40W.

Yup, they are real classic Cadillacs that have been 40+ years there. We’re lucky because it was dry even though it was kinda windy. It would be a mud mess if it’s after rain weather. If you would like to contribute your artwork, you can bring some spray paints. And remember to clean up after yourself, coz people don’t mess with Texas!

Drive about an hour, we’re finally got out from Texas. Yay New Mexico!
Talk to you next time!
